It was a delight to welcome Boris Johnson to All Nations Centre on Tuesday 5th April. The mayor of London was on a whirlwind visit of South Wales on the campaign trail ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. After a busy day meeting voters on the streets he took time out to gather with the Conservative Party members at All Nations Centre. In a relaxed atmosphere over light refreshments he mingled with the crowd, took endless selfies and caused much laughter along the way.

He of course delivered a trademark stirring and humorous speech much to the delight and cheers of the party faithful. At one point he even quipped, a little tongue in cheek and playing to his audience, that 'every day away from Wales is a day wasted'. Well if you are going to be in Wales Mr Johnson, we are pleased you chose All Nations Centre for your meeting. Putting any politics to one side, it was a pleasure meeting the man.
